Hello and thanks for your work here!

Before modding the BIOS for my X250, I would like to know if it's possible to flash a modded BIOS even if Boot Guard is active/enabled.

    Do you have any clues?

    Thanks in advance!

    Hi!

In Lenovo ThinkPad X250, any modified bios can be flash using hardware SPI programmer only, exactly the same as described in the first post of this thread:

So, for creating backup (dump) of bios you need to use hardware SPI programmer.

Can you help me with removing whitelist for my Z710?

What should i do for this?

    Hi!

You can post here your bios backup (bios dump). To create bios backup use attached utility. Extract attached archive directly on the Desktop and run utility as Administrator (right click mouse, choice "Run as Administrator"). Utility will create archive "results" directly on the Desktop. Post here this archive "results", or upload it into any fileserver and post the link.

Hi @Klem, please help me to mod this G780 bios with WIFI whitelist and advanced menu.

I had a lot of problem with this laptop and needed to flash EC and MAIN chip with a dump for this board. Now almost everything works but the wifi card is blocked and uefi is still out. I have made a backup with this tool but there are some errors with fpt.exe. Is it bad?

    Here is the file: https://www.sendspace.com/file/5y17ie

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi!

    Hi Klem.

I have linked results.rar from a Lenovo G500. Could you please remove WiFi whitelisting for me, so that I can upgrade the WiFi card? I don't want other modifications. Also, I need to know how to flash it back again. :)

I got a bunch of errors when using "BACKUP_Tools12_2.exe", but I hope this is good enough. I ran it from a clean install of Windows 8.1 64-bit UEFI.

Hi I have been looking around for a bios that will enable RTX support on the P751DM2-g with 6th/7th gen cpu's, the only one I can find the excel doc says it will only work with 8th/9th gen with the pin isolation mod

    P7xxDMx_RTX.rom

Does anyone have any experience with this model?

    Thanks

how to enable turbo boost on bios?

To enable turbo boost for your new CPU you need execute this algorithm:
    1) remove AC jack, Main Battery, and CMOS Battery
    2) remove HDD and all RAM DIMMs
    3) install new CPU
    4) wait 10 mins
    5) press and hold power button for 30 sec.
    6) install CMOS Battery and one DIMM only, inject AC jack (without Main Battery!)
    7) try to boot your laptop.

Second way to enable turbo boost for your new CPU:

Reboot laptop, go in bios setup menu, on the tab "Save and Exit" set to "Default Settings", then press F10 button to save, then press the Enter button. Done.
