  1. Thanks for your work, will donate when have a chance.

I'd like to flash your latest BIOS for P770EM.  I have it setup, dual boot W10 and Ubuntu and working fine.  My fear is once I flash you custom bios, I'll lose the setup as it has happened in the past with BIOS flashes.  Somehow grub disappears.  Any suggestions?

    We will see...

One thing is for sure 361.75 driver is a horrible performer and very unstable OCer also with working vBIOS ...even compared to the two previous 361 driver...

So what is your verdict?  Doesn't seem NVidia is going to revert to me.

Thanks. I know about hw mod and find this post, but i dont find resistor combinations for 980M rework. Maybe, just as on g-sync version.

vBIOS: Sorry, i mean vbios for my 980M, not for crossflash to g-sync =)

If you find out what resisters to mod, please post here.

  4. Hi Prema :D I'm a new member in this forum, I tried to send private msg to u but the system says I need at least 5 posts in forum. I just bought 2 gtx980m, with pci id 1617 and 13D7, I installed them on my alienware M18X R3, but I realised that these two graphic can't enable sli, I tried to swap their position but sli option still not showing in driver setting. Do u have any idea that what can I do to make these two cards enable sli option? please help me :(

    I'll trade. I have a 13D7 and want your 1617.

  5. @Prema I have an idea for you to consider. I want to turn my P770ZM into G-Sync ready, I have the display, eDP port, but the incomplete 980M Clevo sold me when they could have sold me a complete 980M that wasn't gimped.

Is it possible to mod the G-Sync VBIOS by changing device ID from 1617 to 13D7? I know Clevo were dickheads by gimping my 980M with voltage resistor changes, but would this possibly circumvent this asinine problem?

    Thanks

  6. That v13 is also a non final test release (there where already like 10-15 different v13 revisions...)

I don't upload those as they are often 'bugged'...like the last W230SD test release had no picture on higher than FHD screens and made the dGPU disappear for good...lol.

Thanks, will wait for a final version without bugs.

  7. PREMA, do you know why this happens? Whever I put the laptop to sleep or off power, the GPU memory can't be overclocked, have to do a restart.

Also is the stock vBIOS the one that wasn't affected by the overclock block?

Also I see MySN listed bios for P770ZM dated 05/22/15

    Thanks.

  8. Alright, gonna start trying overclocking on my 980ms little by little since the stock limit can be easily reached. Which vbios are "better" or what specs do they have? I have only seen GT80 users with prema vbios.

what is the recommended voltage? so far with stock +25mv I can get +135 core +350mhz memory. Higher than that seems unstable and cause artifacts at times/screen freezing etc.

Don't have MSI, but I use Asus GPU Tweak, setting is 1275 core and 5800 memory @ stock voltage. Stable playing hours of Crysis 3.

any news on a 4gb version for the g751 yet guys ? much appreciated

Friend's OC with Asus +135 and 5800 on memory with Asus Tweak is not very different from mine. You can ask and maybe they will be kind to work on it, it's really not a big deal, it's a good OC and the results are comparable to what I see Clevo users are getting with larger OC and over-volting.

  9. PREMA can I get a vBIOS with thermal limit at 87C?

hey thanks alot.. i flashed the bios and works like a charm :D one question what software to use to overclock the gpu? thanks man /

NVidia Inspector. Will allow for voltage control or you can use Afterburner.

  10. We all know this but nVidia is now shipping new cards with a locked vbios.

Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

Yes. One of them is mine. Its weird since this is the most beastly machine I have seen... A 4790K and comes with a locked vbios?
