My warranty is still alive, so I'll try that first. Thanks for assisting me tough, I mean it.

I have tried with my TV, both VGA and HDMI. I have removed the CMOS battery and let it powerless the whole night. I haven't soldered the battery back to it's place yet. Laptop is still the same, not booting.

I flashed the v.8.01 unlocked bios from here. http://forum.techinferno.com/lenovo-ibm/2260-lenovo-y580-y480-unlocked-bios-versions.html And I had the 8.01 bios at first. But the flashing went well. I mean, I was able to boot after flashing the modded rom. I messed up some settings, and it doesn't boot anymore.

My drive was FAT32. Hi, I have just updated my bios today, but I think it went bad. My laptop isn't booting anymore. Only the power button lights up and remains that way until I shut down the laptop myself. I have tried many recovery processes to no avail. Ran for about 1 hour straight, still nothing. It seems like I'm missing the real filename of the bios file. If anyone can help, I'd be really grateful. I'm also willing to offer 15$ to anyone who successfully resolve my problem. Oh, and my laptop is a Lenovo Y580.
