I know this is dead, but I wanted to ask @kru or anyone else willing to reply. Since a lot of this info is either dead or gone, I figured I'd at least ask. I got the Neptune 2 bios installed on my P170em without a problem. I also got my stock GTX 675 working with modded Nvidia drivers working. So, I wanted to take it to the next level and get a GTX1060. I was reading some guides to get an MSI GTX 1060. What MXM GPU did you end up buying for your P170em? Was it also an MSI 1060, or just any ordinary 1060 along with installing the modded Nvidia drivers? I was also using Waybackmachine to look at old and gone forms on the needed mods. Most of the photos are gone from these. But Some say to change the GPU heatsink for the 1060 from the stock one my 675 has. Is this the case you all found as well? I really appreciate you help and guidance on this
