  1. Nope ... the only update of the 331.93 bêta driver is a sli profile for AC4 then this driver is useless for P1XXHM owners.

Hotfile is dead then i give you the link of Laptopnut modded .inf LaptopNut

Note: He made a guide for doing yourself

I will not released modded .inf anymore because i sold my P150HM.

    Hi Tonrac,

do you have any Url to that guide ?

You sold your P150HM? Why? :-)

    Regards,

    Manuel

  2. Yes, I can Mod the PxxHM to support the 680M without inf Mods...I also have the 780M "working" in P1x0EM, we will have to see about the HMs...right now I am far too busy with Haswell Mods... ;)

Whoo..Sounds good. What do you need from us so you can provide such a HM Mod for us. I really love to have such an bios for my P150HM. To mod the .inf everytime a news nvidia driver comes out is very annoying :-P

    Best regards,

    Manuel

  3. Thanks to Meaker asus 230W Psu, here the opening video of Crysis 3 on my P150HM (1600x900 all max AAx2 GTX680M@1032/2400, 1.012V)

    Incredible :-) Great vids mate....

Btw. do you have already a modded .inf for the new 314.14 driver ?

  4. Hi,

just want to chime in and tell you that my GTX680M upgrade Kit for my P150HM i ordered from Eurocom arrived yesterday :)

Today i put it in and had some quick benchmarks. At stock clocks (770/1800) i got P6289 in 3D Mark 11 and the peak temperature was 77 degree.

A bit overclocked (850/2200) i got P6902 and the peak temperature was at 83 degree.

Are those 3D Mark results and the peek temperatures ok, or should i worry about them ?

Also which BIOS do you recommend i should flash for my card ?

After reading trough this tread my understanding is that with my P150HM only those two are compatible:

    Clevo 680m - 80.04.29.00.01 'OCedition' revised_01

    or

    MSI 680m - 80.04.33.00.24_'OCedition'_revised_02

Which one of those two is the better one to choose from and what are the differences of them ?

    Best regards,

    Manuel

  5. @kolias @nabelo: sorry for the wait, i was convince to have already put online the modded .inf but it was on an another forum

    here it is:

Modded .inf for nvidia 314.07 Whql (optimised for Crysis3)

    https://hotfile.com/dl/195032519/b91ded6/nvcvn.inf.html

@nabelo: I have read on some forum that Eurocom is a serious company, ask them if they provide the heatsink, screw and xplate because some vendor sell only the card.

I hope that you won't pay too much VAT like you buy it in US and you live in germany.

@kolias: My secret: I use a modded bios made by @Prema and designed for the P150HM/2860QM couple .

    Explanation from Jaybee83 (NBR member)

"The benefit of this modded BIOS is that the CPU wont be slowed down by its specified TDP limits when its activating its clock boost. Officially, 2860QM CPU is rated at a maximum of 3.6 Ghz Clock boost with one core / 3.5 Ghz with two cores and 3.3 Ghz with all four cores on load. This Turbo Boost is limited by the specified TDP of 45W. Thus, once 45W are reached, the Turbo Boost stops and often doesnt fully reach its maximum potential. So instead of 3.6/3.5/3.3 Ghz you would only reach like 3.3/3.2/3.0 Ghz in reality because the specified TDP is reached before the Turbo Boost can be maximized.

Long story short, this BIOS Mod raises the specified TDP ceiling to 60/70W so that the Turbo Boost of the CPU is not limited anymore and can sustain its maximum clocks of 3.6/3.5/3.3 Ghz at any time "

So you can see that my physx score is around 8100 vs your 7649 score with your 2960QM, my cpu with this P150hm modded Bios give a boost on the GTX680M (I got the chance to have a good card that can run at 1006/2400 with only 1v).

The inconvenient is that combined with the GTX680M OC i need a better PSU (superior than 200w, ordered to a forum member based in scotland) to contain the power consumption of this beast.

Again thank you so much for your help :-)

But as usual i have some questions :)

Do you have an URL for us where we can download this BIOS modification you are talking about ?

Also do you have any infos where i can order such an PSU too ?

    Best regards,

    Manuel

  6. Hi,

today i bite the dust and ordered an GTX680M upgrade kit from Eurocom.

Anyone here knows if this reseller is trustworthy ?

I also want to know if there is some source where i can always download the latest modded .inf for actual drivers ?

Is there already a modded driver for version 314.07 out ?

    Regards,

    Manuel

  7. Hi,

Currently i have an P150HM with an Core i7-2720QM, 16GB RAM and an GTX485M and I'm very interested in upgrading my system to an GTX680M.

What performance gains should i expect from my secs ?

Any advices where to buy an suitable GTX680M for my system around germany ? Are there any reseller around Europe who sells them "pre flashed" for use in the P150HM ?

What vBIOS should i flash to the card to get it running on my system once i have it ?

    Best regards,

    Manuel

  8. Hi, I have a "panic locked" Kingston SSD in my own PxxHMx dev-system. I am already waiting for replacement since a month...

also my Kingston RAM started to act funny....so ya, all this is not helping in getting the project finished...

I hope you'll get those things sorted out soon and can continue this nice BIOS Mod. Im very interested in a version for P150HM users.

    Best wishes,

    Manuel

  9. I got some excellent news. Msi 80.04.33.00.24 vbios are fully compatible with P150HM series and seem compatible with P15xEM series.

I flash the 1.0v OV version and got the same score than with the MSI_FD vbios.

    Hi Tonrac,

I'm new here and want to ask where can i find this vbios fir you are talking about ?

    Best regards,

    Manuel
