hi there, i, just acquired an used 980m in order to upgrade my lagging yet trusty 770m, but it seem that the 980m i got is from MSI laptop which the seller didn't mentioned about...
anyway i got to fit it into the MXM 3b slot somehow, but i can not get it recognized by either windows or GPU Z... !
I tried several bios flash but always got message "no change don" or "pci communication failled"...
anyone to give me any advices or to point out how to eventually succeed?
Oh and i did falshed my system to Prema vbios since it seems that the way to go!
