  1. Guys, should I make a donation to Prema for having access to his P651RS-G Bios ? Or it's free ...or will become free soon ?

(This question is linked to the fact  I have seen few resellers with Prema mod preinstalled...so I suppose it does exist and work already).

    thanks

  2. Hi gentlemen,

    I have ordered my P650RS-G.

So excited... I have read some throttle issue with the 1070 on notebookreview.com ; so I really count on Prema to help us ;)

As soon as I received my computer I can send you few internal/bios details if needed.

    Let me know

  3. The version info is in the filename:

    "P150EM_17_11_Stock.zip" is BIOS 17 & EC 11 (1.02.17, 1.02.11)

(The update.bat file provides this information once again before the flash)

perfect amazing work. I installed your prima mod and it looks amazing ;)

    grab a beer soon :D

  4. Could someone point out the differences between 80.04.29, 80.04.33, and 80.04.67?

hard to say, Svl7 has said it's a total different bios code. I don't know what does it change exactly and I ll be curious to read the exact evolution...

    FYI :

So I decided another re-test of the 33 vs 67

I kept it at 980/2300 for all tests, rebooting each time for a clean run.

    (.67) 980/2300: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3840QM,CLEVO P15xEMx score: P7904 3DMarks

    (.33) 980/2300: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680M video card benchmark result - Intel Core i7-3840QM,CLEVO P15xEMx score: P7978 3DMarks

Did a few re-tries and achieved very similar results consecutively on the .33 ranging from 7930~7960 with the one listed as my highest performing one with Balanced Settings Power Options. Very close to the 8K Mark.

Nevermind, try both, benchmark them and come back with your feedback.:tickled_pink:

(personnaly I used to think : newer <=> better)

  5. From my point of view :

80.04.33.00.10 gives me better temperatures in iddle and better fans management than the 80.04.67.00.01 'OCedition' revised_01

On the other hand I have higher temperatures with it... I hit 86 degrees.

FPS... I can't tell any differences...

    :joyous:

I suppose if the bios version 04.67 is newer than the 33.00, it should get any improvements for the 680m...

I ll keep testing the 04.33 but I ll probably go back to the last vbios...

  6. Should get rid of CPU bottlenecks. I would suggest to use svl7's GPU mods along with this to get the max out of your Clevo.

BTW: Just updated P370EMx mods to v1.0! Fixed the annoying boot logo overlay bug of Clevo's stock BIOS.

I heard about it but do no know what does it change, where to DL, and why is it so powerfull ? :semi-twins:

Does it work perfectly for P150EM ?

  7. Reason for this test: So I looked into how the CPU would enter Turboboost and how it shut down cores to achieve higher clock speeds. Forcing it at 100% at all times just isn't the way to go...

Once again, congratulations @svl7 for the update. Once I break that mark, a big round will be headed your way. (I already donated before~)

So only 70 points higher for .33 version ... But do we have other advantages to get .67 ? it's supposed to be a new version... so do we have any improvement ? :D

    I have a xmg bios, EC/KBC V 1.02.11 & BIOS V 1.02.14 with a 680m and 3610qm - What's your advice ?

BTW, using thorttlestop is not a good idea ?
