  1. I know a little about computers but not heaps. Looking to upgrade from my i5-6600 to a 9600k or 9700k. I currently have 2133mhz ram but I notice that the specs given by Intel have 2666mhz listed. Does this mean I'll also need to purchase new RAM as well? I assume these are specifications and not "suggestions" by Intel, but it would save me about $130-$260 if I don't need to get new RAM. Was looking to add another 16gb to my current 16gb along with the cpu upgrade, but might have to put that on the backburner if I have to buy all new RAM.
