I want to share with you these videos... videos of what has happened 5 hours ago on the main square in Kiev, Ukraine between peaceful protest of students mostly plus other ukrainians who agitated for joining with Euroean Union and Police, special forces who did... see yourself.

I will not agitate for anything here nor ask. Just post videos which I find now and share with you.

I'm pretty dissapointed with the linear story, otherwise it's been great so far. I really wish that 4A Games fixed the game engine though, only getting 60% SLI usage on average. Custom SLI Bits can make it hover around 85-90%, but they introduce the lens flare issue which makes this game literally unplayable. Well, I guess I should be happy that a pretty cheap laptop (y500 with 650m sli) can handle high settings.

I have just 1 heavily overclocked 650m and pla on all high at 1080p. No AA of course.

I red several threads on the net stating that ME8 was used on 6 series mobo's to enable Ivy Bridge support, so I had quite some expectations that things work. I will ask a friend if I can get a Ivy to test. Maybe Im lucky.

Yeah, you need some time to get used:) But even more you need to get what guy above did:

He ha 6-th Intel chipset=> used 7-th v. of firmvare=> claims he flashed 8-th v. of ME...

I used the FTIC provided in the download link for 6 series chipset. FTIC 7.1.20.1119

Anyway I flashed your modded ME fw, I have now basically ME8 on my machine. Unfortunately, the bar for bclk, which was grey and disabled before flashing has now completely disappeared. :/

Also I cant raise power limits in Throttle Stop which would be very useful even if bclk oc doesnt work because of hardware restrictions.

Just out of curious, why would you flash ME8 using software peovided for 7-th version for your chipset?

And how can you be sure that your BIOS doesn't believe that your ME firmware is bricked and that's why it loads without it (and thetefore you got all that)?

So it means you can't flash. It is stupid uefi feature. I know that svl7 knows how to flash parts of bios.

I have a GT70-0NC and used to practice overclocking with my desktop computer.

Unlike most of people, I would like to mode my bios for 3 things :

- Undervolting my CPU

- Changing the minimum multiplicator (it's currently 8 .. Too much for typing on word when I'm in class !)

- Undervolting / underclocking the Intel Graphic HD4000

Is it possible with these unlocked bios ?? I really need a better autonomy for using my computer at the college

I know I could do that with XTU, but everything is locked ... I can't change anything, I don't even have a Graphic Chipset tab ....

I'm using MSI GX740 with core i5 m460 and 4GB RAM. I bought 8GB (2x4GB PC3-10600S from samsung) and it didn't work. I mean win7 starts normally but not work stable - blue screen and restart. New memory is ok - i've tested it on MSI GE70. Bios udated to 1.0F from msi site. Any ideas why it isn't work properlY? Maybe i need to use unlocked bios?

In unlocked bios you may set custom timings and frequency. Use CPU-z tool and check memory tab. What freq and timings are there?

Whats really annoying with NOS, is that it sometimes kicks in with no apparent reason, draining the battery at somehow fast rates, and sometimes while running a high load on both the cpu and gpu, the system seems to have enough juice from the psu and the battery charge remains at 100%, i've noticed this on a gt60 2od with 4700mq cpu o/c with multipliers (x36 max ) and without o/c and on the 780m stock and with a mild o/c +100Mhz core /+350mem running the same set of games/apps

I personally have no idea if clean install in legacy bios prevented you from bios flash.

Try to format usb stick.via hp usb format tool in fat using dos bootable files.

Or create uefi bootable flash drive and set bios to uefi and try to boot from flashdrive.

I have a msi gx 740 with a intel core i7 720qm and a AMD 5870m graphics, anytime I play a game the CPU throttles so i was wondering if with the unlocked bios i can stop the CPU from Throttling. ?

Khenglish, can you look at this? This is from my ME firmware and here how it affects on OCing FSB through BIOS. I noted something there what I think should be changed for available overclocking at least through BIOS. Please ignore what is written in Russia. What do you think about upper 2 (deviding values). I heared that MSI GT783 even with unlocked XM CPU couldn't be overclocked in BIOS, only using ThrottleStop... It was Hell666set who told me that Intel ME firmware locked it that even with unlocked BIOS he didn't see where he could set 1/2/3/4 cores limits...

I thought that if you have external clock pll chip than ME firmware gives nothing.

Hey people. I have just flashed new MW firmware without a glitch. Like a driver update it was so simple!

Maybe it is only on MSi but here is MEInfo and it says that local firmware update is enabled.

Anyway, I just used bat file with code:

FWUpdLcl64 -save old.bin
FWUpdLcl64 -f ME_8.1.40.1416.BIN
pause

and newer firmware and that's it. ALthough I haven't checked if that gave me anything exept newer version.

Ambient temp effect it very much. Very very. But you can drill holes is the bottom of laptop for example or just take off bottom cover, although it is not comfortable at work. Maybe a cooling stand like Notepal U2? Try to put a book under it without blocking holes ad check how max temp has changed.

I tried it on my dual 650M in SLI. Had the settings on low with about 40 FPS. With normal settings, only getting around 15-20 FPS. Couldn't deal with it enough to play it unfortunately.

Y500, 16GB Ram, 2 650M with a total of 4 GB GDDR5, i7 3630.

Forget about it. It is not worse the hassle. + 80MHZ equals much higher temprature.

If it is hard to find time for mod then why nit to ask Forge for that bios? Just saying...

As I know, 650m can work at 1005MHz core while downvolted to 1.025.
