Thank you. Looks like 770M will work on MSI vBIOS. And 765M might work on Clevo vBIOS. But someone wrote that some 765M cards may have black screens after driver installation so he made some mod from MSI 770M vBIOS for 765M.

Or at least that is how I translated that so far.

Could you please help me, I got a problem with unstable gpu usage in games. I flashed your mod and it doesn't solve the problem.

I found solution on MSI forum, they just flashed custom EC firmware to reduce throttling and increase GPU performance, BUT there is firmware only for GT60.

How can I fix it on GE60 ?

BIOS: E16GAIMS.10F and EC: 16GAEMS1 v4.04.

What is the maximum stable clock I can get after flashing this? Can you compare overclocked GTX660M to some current gen not OCed mobile GPU?

Prema, I had no doubts that you will unlock those vBIOSes.

On one hand they will not remove the blocks actively - as anyone kwnos they have their modder/moderator "Svet" who will do this on request - without MSI having to choose sides.

Anyhow. I think I`ll go with Clevo next time as through svl7 and Prema we got the best support!

Hi Slv, how you doing matey? I donated to you the day I downloaded the 880m vbios you came up with. I've since been having some odd problems with your vbios for the 880m. Nvidia Inspector, EVGA and MSI, all function as if my vbios is still stock after each computer restart. The only way I can get the over clocking functions working again, is to start Nvidia Control panel before opening Nvidia Inspector. I also have a few other problems, such as, driver crashes during Heaven Benchmarking. Plus, EVGA acts up with your current vbios for the 880m.

I was wondering if you could take a look at my stock vbios and create me a more stable vbios for the latest beta driver if possible please matey?

I've attached my stock 880m vbios link for you to take a look at. If you would like me to provide anything. I will be more than willing to do so, as I'm seriously reconsidering getting rid of my 880m at the moment.

I heard such stories about latest Beta driver on Alienware. Try to fully delete that driver from your system, install WHQL, and reflash vBIOS again. Perhaps that will help.

overvolting as well as gains of it are different in each case while Prema did mods which fit everybody from noob to expert as a sign of a goodwill. I believe if you really want a mod with overvolting you have to ask Prema, svl7 or Klem for mod by donating. I heard svl7 can even disable temperature throttling. Or you can post in request thread but be sure that 95% chance is that you never get it from there.

Who in the World installs Nvidia drivers through Windows Update??!

1. Uninstall Nvidia drivers by universal driver uninstaller.

2. Install Intel driver if you want.

3. Install latest beta or WHQL driver from Nvidia.

Set it to 1.100, it will be constant 1.062.

I had almost such vBIOS (1.12>1.075) but this way temperature goes insanely fast from 40 to 60 while now temps are in 55-65 range. Therefore voltage fluctuates and overclocking is not stable.

svl7, if you ever have free time to look at it please check if you can set constant 3D voltage at 1.062 or so. Now it drops from 1.075 to 1.037V after 60C.

Is it possible to disable voltage throttling when temperature hits 60C? Overclocking is not so stable if voltage drops from 1.075 to 1.037. I'd rather had constant 1.06V.

J95, why wouldn't you move all Temp directory to Ramdrive then? The only once when I had trouble after doing that was when unzipping many GB file because Temp folder wasn't that big to hold that much of data but I have never done anything like that since.

Speaking about driver... same driver all before. Some games get gains, some loose. That is if I comare with 335.23. R331 drivers are really less performance. But I have good CPU.
