after taking the 2 screws off, just slide the panel down and left it up. super easy. yup only 2 screws holding panel in place. just did this earlier when i was checking for the widi leads.

Well depending two fans can accelerate each other so sometimes you can get more air forced through your heat sinks... but not much of a noticable amount of change in temps will be seen when gaming, or processing something with a heavy load. More likely if you sufing net and watching videos it will help keep temps low but there's probably only a 1 to 5 degree difference max compared to just propping it up off the table surface. I was thinking of combining air conditioning and a notebook cooler...

i think i over did it last night. almost coughed up a lung earlier trying to smoke a bowl. prolly have to take a break from it for awhile. 12 hours should do it, heheheh ok maybe 8 hrs.

i tried many coolers and can honestly say that they really don't do much for cooling for alienware systems since the cooling is pretty good already. just propping the back end of your laptop will gave you the same results but won't look as nice.

man i've been there too, my first ever dell repair was a nightmare. ended up getting a replacement after that foul up. ever since i have done everything myself with the dell tech just chilling and waiting, now they just drop off parts and come back later to pick up the defective parts.

my lungs are still recovering from yesterday, hehehe just chilled out most of the day, ate a bunch of medicated brownies and special spaghetti, smoked a few blunts, took a bunch on bong hits spent most of the night smoking and playing poker. so all in all just like every other day. hahahahaha

still a tough one for me, the r3 more then suit my needs, but crappy build is really bothering me. i guess i will wait for your review before making final decision.

hopefully its soon, still trying to decide between keeping the r3 or the M18x just cause of build quality.

yeah i mainly use it as a docking station, i have everything connected to the cooler and only 1 usb from the cooler is connected to my laptop. painting the rubber pieces sounds like a cool idea, let me know how it goes, maybe try it out too.

The vinyls were from my work but you can prolly get them at a local sign shop. I used a 3m control tact for the main wrap, the black was just a generic vinyl.
