from what i've seen others posted is AS5 is not as good as other paste on the cpu but for gpu its on par with everyone else. i also recommend the line/dot method too, the spreading method works also but have a higher chance of getting air bubbles.

well here is my story. so i called dell for some warranty issues for my M15x, just when everything is figured out, the tech told me that my account was flagged for fraud and that he can no longer help me. so after being transferred over a dozen time over multiple days, i finally got the right department. so i found out that one of my replacement unit that i sent back to dell was bought by someone else but the service tag was still attached to my account. so that lucky guy prolly got the laptop for free while the bill is on my account. lucky i saved all my dell correspondence and shipping labels. so i had to prove to them that i did indeed sent it back. friggin took like a week to fix. got pissed and ask for my money back, hahahahha

planning on buying a slightly used drive for $650, it an awesome deal just wished i had enough money just to grab it but i need to sell the 300gb.

So Inap you keep 107 baseclock 24/7? Sounds like a fair increase and you said you've found it stable for 2 weeks so far? I've read that max recommended in most cases is very close to that value anyway.

yeah using 107 for the past 2 week, been rock solid even use it for benching. so far haven't seen to many people going over 105.

So the only way to OC the R3 right now is via BIOS ?

The stock paste i got the R3 with seems very shitty, i am idling at 55-60C on the CPU.. Thursday my mobo is being replaced and while we're at it i'll put on some fresh MX-4.. once i do that i'll bench mine too and post results here.

can't wait to see your results, i'm idling around 45-50 maybe need to repaste too.

i managed to get a full refund on my M15x. bought the r3 and got a cool grand back in my pocket.
