There should definite be a significant boost in performance. Can you use MSI Afterburner to verify the performance of the card? What are your 3D Mark benchmarks showing. Side note, should anyone be interested in a similar upgrade i have listed my gpu, cpu heatsinks and fans for this upgrade on ebay.
