No. at the Moment its connected through HDMI since i get my new wqhd Monitor. i installed 10.10.5 Yosemite and now the egpu works. i reinstalled El Capitan an it didnt work at all. why? my Problem now is, when i make a reboot i get a Black Screen and the MBP is getting very hot. if i Turn the MBP off, wait and Boot again it works. do You have a solution for that?

I already tried that.. it says Thunderbolt connectet no eGPU found

Hello Guys, i use the Akitio Thunder 2 PCIe Box with a Riser and Molex Plug on my Nvidia Geforce GTX 970. On the first start i booted into Windows 10 and there was directly a Graphic update available. After Download and installing it the Graphiccard showed up in Hardware Manager an the Card is working perfectly. My Problem is, that i can't get it run in Mac. I use 10.11.6 El Capitan. I installed CUDA and Nvidia Web Driver. I guess i tried all versions. The Akitio Box is showed up in my hardware on Mac but no graphic card. I also tried the automatic script but it says "no eGPU founded". I add a few pictures. Please Help me i don't know what else to do.
