Hi, is it true that you cannot use/activate WWAN card when battery is not attached?
I removed the battery, and powered on using power adapter only, modem is not detected/listed in device manager.

Hi yes it is un2430. Finally, I don't know why, I just unplug and replug the cable and then it showed up on device manager. I'm using windows 8.1 driver.

What more interesting is, I reinstall my Windows 10 (latest anniversary ISO) and then windows detect the card automatically when I setting up user account (before login to windows for the first time)!

Just bought this item from aliexpress, seller said it is compatible with 2570p:

But currently it is not detected on device manager. Running latest Win10 and bios.

Any suggestions?

@paohyean I received your reply in my email, but seems you deleted your post here. Are you sure about the bluetooth thing? Because that is one of the reason I ordered 7260 card

Guys, does your 2570p comes with skin guard on it? I bought second hand 2570p and it has such a skin guard both on cover/lid and palm rest, but i5 and Windows7 emblem/logo on top of it. So I dont know whether it comes from the HP or previous owner.
