Hi, is it true that you cannot use/activate WWAN card when battery is not attached? I removed the battery, and powered on using power adapter only, modem is not detected/listed in device manager. Sent from my Redmi Note 3 using Tapatalk

Hi yes it is un2430. Finally, I don't know why, I just unplug and replug the cable and then it showed up on device manager. I'm using windows 8.1 driver. What more interesting is, I reinstall my Windows 10 (latest anniversary ISO) and then windows detect the card automatically when I setting up user account (before login to windows for the first time)! Just bought this item from aliexpress, seller said it is compatible with 2570p: But currently it is not detected on device manager. Running latest Win10 and bios. Any suggestions?

Guys, does your 2570p comes with skin guard on it? I bought second hand 2570p and it has such a skin guard both on cover/lid and palm rest, but i5 and Windows7 emblem/logo on top of it. So I dont know whether it comes from the HP or previous owner.

What is sata version on the ODD interface? Planning to buy HDD Caddy and use SSD on it, but that would be pointless if the sata version is 1, according to this image:
