  1. I have been on and off for about 5 years. I'm on a deff right now weighing 180, 3 months ago I was at 230 bulk.

Personal best is 440 deadlift, 415 squat and 264 bench. Slipped a disk 7 months ago but I'm on my way back I hope :D

215 makes me think bodybuilding? If you powerlift at 215 you are a beast.

I'm 167. I was over 170 until I hurt my shoulder and leg. Leg is finally better, but not the shoulder. Squat dropped 30 pounds to 335 while recovering, which is actually good for 4 months of just running. My bench was 255 prior to my injury doing presses. I don't deadlift. The only other thing I do really is pullups and chinups since I can't do chest or shoulder.

255 is really good at that weight compared to my best at my weight :D

  2. No Problem it was the one i used as using Slv7's was causing a issue when booting. Some error code before posting so using a stock on and then copied his settings to Overclock.

Error code when booting? You don't mean the GPUs post message? That's not a error code.

  3. Recieved my p150sm today and just flashed your BIOS, first I got this weird problem with backlight not being adjustable and the soundcard nor ethernet worked and I was afraid I bricked the EC. But it all worked out after doing a system repair so it was software related.

Thanks for your hard work man! I've bought you a coffee ;D

  4. Does anyone know how to upgrade the ibuypower cz-17? it uses the ms-1762 mobo, the model is a gt70. i currently have a gtx675m 4gb that nvidia kindly destroyed with thier ...less than admiral..... drivers a while back. i attempted to put a 770m in, thinking it would be no problem, however once i did, when i turned it on, the screen was in 8bit resolution. colors were distorted, screen was zoomed way in, and windows did not detect the 770m at all, not matter what driver i put in. no, i have not tried using modded inf files, mostly because i have no idea where to start with that. i have been dredging the web for weeks now, to no avail. please help!

    thanks, in advance!! =)

I'm pretty sure the gtx 770m doesn't work in the 1762, someone correct me if I'm wrong.

  5. Hi techies/genius!

I would like to upgrade my msi gt683dxr with a nvidia gtx770m, but I have many questions about this:

1.- the are a clevo, dell, or many others brands, which is the brand recommended ? place/website to buy? some specifications to be sure that could work without problems

2.- do I must flash the video card? how could I do that? tutorial about this?

3.- do I must flash the bios in the motherboard? tutorials about this?

4.- my laptop has a gtx570m, the heatsink is the same for the gtx770m or I must buy a new one? where could I buy?

5.- after all this the procedure to install drivers is pretty transparent or I must "cheat" some files?

Sorry if this qustions are too basic, but I want to be sure about the process before spend the money and avoid have a video card/laptop as decorative in my desk....

Thanks in advance for your answers and help.

    1. You need to buy a Clevo card. Mokkin on ebay has it.

    2. No, only if you want to unlock the card for OCing or if you want to be able to install drivers without a modified .inf, then you'll need a MSI VBIOS.

    3. No.

    4. Yes it's the same.

    5. To install the drivers you need a modified .inf or as I described in 2, it's easy to install with a modified .inf.

  6. Works like a charm for me (MS16-F1@MSI-GX660r)

Just a little question, is it good to enable Xtreme Edition upport for i7 720QM?

And could i put a i7 3rd gen. into my laptop with full supported features (clock and so on)?

Thanks for the wonderfull Bios mod!!

Only first gen i CPUs works in your system so no.

  7. Hello there,

I own the MSI GX660r with 1st gen Intel Core i7 and an ATI Mobility Radeon HD5870 graphics Card,

I allready overclocked my Graphic Card at 820Mhz GPU Speed, and Overvolted it to 1,10V.

Seems to run smooth so far.

    But my Question is,

Is it possible to get a new CPU in the GX660r?

Something like an i5 3th or 4th gen.?

    an a better graphic card?

i allready read some thing about this, for example that this is no possible with an Nvidia card. but still possibly with an similar ati card like a card from the 6xxx series.

Sorry for my bad English :D

    i am from Austria :D

The fastest CPU you can get is I7 920XM.

  8. Morning All, thought i would give this a go this morning and unfortunately cannot get past the first step -

My bios is here, it has been unlocked and I was thinking that maybe now I have all the advanced options in the bios that I may have a setting to set the flash descriptor overide (gonna make a vid of my bios and upload to YT) -

    Here is youtube vid:

The bits are already set for bclk overclocking.

  9. Hi guys and Gals

I just bought this laptop and have a few questions if anyone can help

    The specs:

    Amd A10-5750m

    HD 8650g graphics

    750 gig hdd

    8 gigs ddr3 ram

Currently I have been doing some research and I got into my advanced bios it turns out I am 99 percent sure this big laptop has mxm support it has the option in the bios to switch cards and also asks if I want to activate mxm.

Basically what I want to know is if it is possible to buy a mxm card and install to run dual graphics. I plan on locking the processor at 3.2 when I figure that part out.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

There's not a lot of info on your system, and I can't find a service manual. But I'm pretty sure it doesn't have support for mxm cards.

Hope I'm wrong though, could you open up the bottom panel and upload a picture?

  10. Ok, Will download that bios ready. I take it has only had the power limited removed? As i don't want to go over 160/170watts on the PSU being 180watt. Thanks for your reply.

Is the GTX770M superfast compared to the GTX560M

It's quite fast compared to the 560m yes.

  11. Hi all i have just ordered a Clevo GTX770M which should be on its way from Mokkin from the link on the forums.

No i have a 180wat PSU and Xonars unlocked bios already installed on laptop.

Now my main question is can the GTX770M's Sub Vendor be changed with a simple dump of the vBios and Editing it, then flashing back or as it down to a hardware mod.

Only reason i ask is because their is conflicting info about the net, I am all for Modded .inf files from time to time but Editing the Sub Vendor if it can be vbios modded would be easier and would also mean i will not have to mod the recovery partition image i have already made.

Also another questions to other with the same barebone thats gone to the GTX770M hows the temps like now on the GPU and do you get throttling issues.

Personally i can't wait for the Card and HSF to arrive so i can get playing games with decent stable frame rates as the aging GTX560M is now to me starting to not cut the mustard.

Thanks in advance for any reply's!

You can flash Msi GTX 770M VBIOS, the temps should be fine, my card idled at around 40C and around 70C load.

I haven't had any throttling issues since the first weeks I got the card, not really sure what fixed it though.

  12. can somebody unlock the gt70-2oc bios for free?

Which version? Give me a link.

    - - - Updated - - -

Okay, so I'm running the BIOS now. Everything seems great except that I can't seem to find where to tweak the bsclk in the BIOS. Is it unlocked in this version?

    Advanced - Intel ICC - Div2S

  13. Hello, I have the GT70 0NE, and I am looking to replace thermal pads on the gpu. Is there a spec for the pads ? what is everybody using, I was suggested 2 sided tape, but thickness and thermal properties are unknown, and thickness seems kinda important, in my mind ? Any thoughts appreciated ?

    Ken

Phobya 7w/mk 0.5mm or any other high grade 0.5mm pads.

  14. 73.2% for my ASIC quality,

I do not know if it's good or not, but thanks for the advices, I'l try the ic diamond 24carat and better thermal pads, Liquid ultra scared me :D

What's the thickness of your current pads? 0,5mm should give the best contact with the die, as for thermal paste I have gotten the best results with Phobya nanogrease extreme, haven't tried liquid ultra yet.

  15. Ok, so my new 770m should be arriving tomorrow. As above, I've previously had a 570m. Other than doing a clean Nvidia driver install, what else do I need to do following putting the card in?

You need to rearrange the thermal pads to fit the 770m's slightly different layout, and if they are 0.5mm which is optimal you'll need to put either a 1mm or 2x0.5mm pads on top of each other on the 4 VRAM's here

Do you have a modded .inf?

  16. If one of your friends has another laptop with 3rd gen of i7 (clevo/aw/msi doesn't matter) you can use it to put 770M inside and flash clevo/msi vBIOS on it.

Don't know if it will work but worth to try before buying new one.

Try with clevo 770M before you buy 670M it's a huge difference between them when it comes to performance.

It doesn't seem to be VBIOS related so flashing it won't make any difference.
