  1. I have a laptop haswell i7 + nvidia dGPU running on windows 8.1 Currently setup eGPU 1.3 is able to detect my eGPU (gtx 960 on a exp gdc) without fail every time I load egpu setup 1.30, however as I chainload into windows, the egpu is not detected by windows at all! Any help and insight would be much appreciated.
  2. I am using an exp gdc device on mpcie with a dell da2 psu. It seems that when I am in egpu setup and polling of egpu it can appear and disappear intermittently. Is this because of the dell da2 psu not being powered on? The green light indicator is switched on on the dell da2 psu. Also, in windows I am having trouble getting it to show up on device manager, it seems like it is random
  3. I've read accounts that EXP GDC does not work with windows 10 at all or that it only works when using an external monitor. Can anyone comment on whether it will work with windows 10 and also if it work with the internal monitor? Additionally, is there any advantage of getting EGPU Setup 1.30?
  4. That doesn't sound like I have a huge performance hit from x1.2opt. Gtx970 gets about 11.k firestrike fhd in desktop configurations. If I use gtx970 with x1.2opt, if i get 9k, that's still 80% performance. Sounds great to me.
  5. I own a toshiba p50T and I am unsure as to what sort of performance hits I would suffer should I use a gpu. This is the specifications of my laptop http://www.mytoshiba.co.nz/products/computers/satellite/p50/pspmha-0ee04s/specifications So since it has optimus, I'm guessing I will be able to use my built in monitor to display the output from the egpu? Another thing is, I seem to remember there being a performance hit when you output back to your laptop monitor, does that still apply?
