Morv, yes your post prompted me to get this configuration) but I also require the advanced features for programming on the Nvidia cards. At this moment i use two computers for that, and its not very convenient -

Also with Nvidia Quadro? I heard that quadro support some virtualization technologies. And thanks for replay, i will read about unRAID. -
Hello, Anyone tried to run Virtual Machine Parallels or VmFusion directly on eGpu card? For using all nvidia technologies like Cuda and nvenc in VM with Windows.
