  1. New poster, but I have been lurking for awhile trying to see if I want to do this eGPU setup to get back into Mac-land. However, I own a ROG Swift PG278Q already, and while I know that g-sync is not supported in OS X I was wondering if people who own this monitor are still able to turn on ULMB while in OS X with their NVIDIA eGPU connected to the monitor? For the games I play there would be a plus to at least having ULMB enabled while playing instead of rebooting to Windows to get all the features of the monitor. I am also asking because it looks like AMD cards cannot enable ULMB if they were connected to a PG278Q, which seems counter-intuitive since ULMB seems more like a monitor-only feature. It looks like there is some sort of a driver/software check going on with the monitor/g-sync module and computer that prevents AMD cards from enabling ULMB on this particular monitor. I don't have the full path of where I am going, but I currently have a MSI 980 Ti that is connected to the monitor and I was going to look to re-use that for an eGPU setup. Thanks in advance.
