Driver mod should be ok because you pass the systen check.

Now I should be able to re-enable audio right?

I have been a member for a while but I haven't been active much. I have a m17x r3 with an 880m that brought me here.
I am a telecommunications engineer from New York. Pleased to meet everyone!!!

working in your R3?
What bios Version do you have.
Have you disabled the integrated audio?
What OS do you use?
Was working in my r3, dumped system, can't find the driver I used
A12 unlocked with sata tweak
Yes, audio is disabled

I am stuck here with a previously working 880m in my m17x r3. Every driver I have tried errors out.
The VBIOS screen shows up when booting, yet no driver INF mod will work for me. HWINFO reports the correct hardware.
PEG enabled, onboard video disabled.
Any help would be appreciated...
Also I have been getting driver files elsewhere due to not being able to download from here.

Edit2: Looks like the power brick has given up, it keeps powering off now, no led on the plug, takes time unplugged to get it to reset. I bet that was the problem all along, just took my burn in tests with furmark to get it to finally fail.
Edit: I thought I had it by changing fan tables, no dice. gets above 80 then throttles
Well it is still throttling at 78c, I think it is the alienware bios.... I can't find the correct bios to fix it... anyone know whats causing it?
