  1. Hi JayZu and welcome to the community! First of all to exclude the possibility of you missing the optimus link state 'variation', meaning you link speed 1.1 (idle) should jump to 1.3 (performance) in GPUz when rendering 3D, you should check this: 1. In NCP -> make sure you prefer your high Performance GPU, in your case GTX650Ti. 2. Add your game in the manual list of programs and let it prefer High performance GPU 3. Start the game. 4. ALT+TAB out to GPUz and check the link-speed again. Please post your results and let us know what happens.
  2. Could you please link to these game limitation comparisons? I agree that this is an important issue that needs to be benched and discussed.
  3. Nice! I can imagine that it's a bit low FPS for a pleasant online play experience?
  4. Could you make some benchmarks for BF4 similar to @bjorm 's? Like this. Thanks a lot!
  5. @MikjoA 's score is with a really nice OC, my score is with a slight factory OC. 3Dmark11 is much more depended on GPU perfomance, compared to 3Dmark06 which depends much more on CPU performance (that's why I have better 06 score). So expect a little bit lower 3DMark11 score w/o OC, Hope it helps!
  6. Nice to see another RAID0-setup! I'd like to see your boot time from power on to desktop =)
  7. 1. Yes I tested both lock ticked and lock unticked, same result regardless how high I set the long/short W. 2. yes I use a 90W universal adapter (which doesn't give me BSOD like the original 65W does during eGPU load, so it seems legit). This seems rather strange since TS do affect my clockings, but only for lowering them. Anything else I can test? Maybe @Aikimox could test if he get the same results as me?
  8. Weird.. When I run Prime95 with TS active my cores are limited to 2.7GHz (even though I lock to 37 multiplier), w/o TS active I get 3.4GHz.. Throttlestop is more like throttle-activator for me! Could you post what exact settings I should use? =) EDIT: After TS has limited my multiplier to 27 I have to restart my system in order to have it back normal again.
  9. I have the same visuals as you except 45w/56w for Long/Short. I tried pushing the 'Time limit slide' and lock the 'Power limit register' -> Apply. Started Prime95 and HWinfo only shows 100MHz x 27 at most
  10. WOW! And it seems like he uses the stock wireless card too? This is just awesome, I'll never get rid of this noteboook =)
  11. Oh half length, I forgot =) Thanks for the list Nando. I would be awesome to find a compatible BT + WIFI combo too.
  12. Nice work, really interested in this hackintosh concept! I also wonder if someone managed to have a macbook wifi-card going yet? I guess the most preferable would be one with integrated bluetooth like this one: MacBook Air 13" A1369 11" A1369 A1370 2010 2011 2012 WiFi Bluetooth Card, A+ | eBay One problem though, how would it fit without any screw holes :S ?
  13. Thank you Nando, I stand corrected. One more thing though, a GTX 560ti would probably be fine, but BF3 requires a lot of CPU and since you are lucky enough to have a socketed CPU you could always upgrade it later if necessary.
  14. Hm ok, I think cards in the GTX x50/x50-Ti could yield problems with the PCI-compaction, or how does it work @Tech Inferno Fan?
  15. That should be no problems at all! I'm guessing you have a i5 of some kind? With your requirements you should be fine using a PE4L2.1b-EC + GTX 660. What's your budget?
