Thanks to this vbios mod, I'm able to overclock even further!
I have a 3GB 670MX, it's a noticeable increase from stock vbios when I pumped up the core clock.
Shadow of Mordor 1080p benchmarks results
what clocks you use ?

Try this.
Helllo
It's possible to raise/remove TDP limitation ? Because for example in 920mhz core its throttling.
Thanks in advance
ps
Maybe ID from dell to MSI because i use it in msi gt60 and without proper id card not shutdown completly
-
m6000 its like 5870m -not 6970m
and m6000 from dell (probably only one available) works with 1gen/2gen msi GT
m61000 (in my case ) not works in msi 1gen gt and its slower than 7970m for sure

share your bios
-
why you need to remove it ? better sell complete heatsink if you really don't want to use that heatpiipe
-
maybe wrong EC ? or need to reflash it ?
-
why is stuck at 100% ? something dead or what?
-
how you know that bios is 4MB not 8MB ? maybe flash tool wrong detect it ?
-
what thermal paste you use ? probably not contact to good between gpu core and heatsink
-
its from clevo that heatsink to bottom side of card to cool vram and other chips, Im not sure if they can be mounted in MSI because of differencies in mounting
-
what wrong with that ?
Hey man!
-
it's clevo/msi card or dell ?

fanspeed not helps in this case - you need to disable in bios dedicated gpu
its for sure available but probably hidden , amibcp im used in gt60 3gen few times, friend use in gt70 also 3gen - then in compatible

but windows7 works
Well I modded the .inf file on windows 7 and it ran fine. But I updated to windows 8 and I have been trying to mod the .inf files for hours on different driver versions trying to get them to work but no luck yet. I can't find what I'm doing wrong. The driver software recognizes the hardware and it trys to install but fails every time. I'm scared to flash vBios because I've bricked a card in the past. -
set Primary Display to iGFX and that's all what you need (default is SG if i good remember)
it's hidden or available in main menu under System information (all hidden options should be available in one place)
if not grab https://www.google.com/search?safe=active&q=AMIBCP+4.53&spell=1&sa=X&ved=0CBoQBSgAahUKEwjuls6mpfjGAhXKkSwKHXx-DqQ&biw=1664&bih=840&dpr=1.15 AMIBCP 4.53
grab you bios and change that settings and ofcourse flash with that new bios

what about that 670mx in 2gen MSI ?
-
you change complete power cord from original MSI psu to that Dell
-
Thats rather weird that in F2 765m/670mx doesnt work if in F1 works - maybe Legacy ROm not setted in bios ?
-
hi
clevo gtx 670mx works
clevo 765m also works - yesterday tested -almost ;p bios showed on external lcd
both tested on f1 1gen MSI GT660
-
for fan modyfying you can use Fan Control Tools by Pherein v1.0.4 or other tools that can modyfying EC table (r&w can do this )
In f3 you cannot change TDC - and you limitied to 66TDP even with XM - you can play with TDP, multiplers but you need TDC options
Are you sure that you cannot edit bios with AMIBCP4.53 and flash it ? to change (raise) tdp to more, raise multiplers to 42x for all options- of course for XM you need TOP paste like liquid because no other can handle heat

run occt gpu 3d test with error check (but vram size is limited to 2GB if i remeber correctly)
