Very new here, and I have some questions me and my friend have been debating. I have a mac book air and it has served me well for general purposes. However, I fell on a promising article/post about eGPU's. I have seen some posts here and there and decided to try it out, but because of my lack of knowledge I want to see what people think. Since I have a mac air I could use the thunderbolt, but I am guessing its a first version. So a akitio thunder2 with a gtx 970 and a power source of some kind for the graphics card. Really my mac air is not strong to start out with so that's where me and my friend are debating if this can even work. The debate is if the graphics card will be of any use considering cpu and whatnot which I really do not understand. Thanks in advance
