I have the m17x r4 with he 7970m. I do enjoy the silence of the fans.. But the gpu heatsink is pretty hot it seems (idle), and the gpu itself on idle is always at 50-56c.. Which to me is.. way to hot for an idle temp. Is this normal? Or should i be worried about this.

Hello, i have a m17x R4 which is currently running a 7970m 2gb GPU. Im really wanting to get a new gpu, but i keep seeing all kinds of hold backs... such as windows 10 not compatible, certain bios settings need changing, UEFI needed ( i have legacy installed atm win 10 latest build) so lets say i were to get an 870m-880m or 970m. What would be the process to successfully use these GPUs? those 3 are the ones i have my eye on. I also have A11 unlocked Bios.And i hope winodws 7 or 8.1 is not needed to use these gpus. As i keep seeing on ebay ads and such. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
