Hello all . First I would like to thank everyone in this forum for all the info on my 780m upgrade . It made things go sooo much smoother than it would have. I have card installed all drivers installed and can boot into windows with IDT enabled . Everything seems to work perfectly . Volume on keyboard works , equalizer works etc... My issue is if I ever click on sound icon in toolbar I crash with pink screen . I just use computer without touching that icon lol. I have a m17xr3 , 780m , dell vbios non 3d screen , correct heatsink and paste/thermal pads . I have searched for hours through threads and posts and only found a couple mentions of this same problem . One was razer naga software which I do have not 2014 version like in the post but that is uninstalled and drivers cleared . And I still have the problem . He also never mentioned much about how he fixed that either , just that there was a Microsoft fix . The other was someone not having heatsink screwed down . Which mine is and sits around 60 degrees. Any help would be appreciated . Thanks in advance . Oh also Im running windows 7 64 bit ultimate with all updates installed.
