Hello I am not new here, but i can`t acces my old account here. It was Dan. I`ve been using egpu for a while (2-3 years). Use my pc not for gaming but for photoshop editing only. It running much faster than just using igpu. first it was HP DV6 i3 8gb OS: Win7x64 than Win8 x64 Adapter: PE4C iGPU: Intel HD eGPU: GeForce GT 430 did DSDT overide, (i think Tech Inferno Fan help me with error fixing) Than i got next latop HP ProBook 6560b i5 8gb OS:Win8 x64 Adapter: PE4C iGPU: Intel HD 3000 eGPU: GeForce GT 430 i did no dsdt overide. everything worked fine. Just recetly. after win8 updates i lost all sound in the system. Decide to upgrade to win 8.1 everything worked good exept i got error 12. I did DSDT overide an test mode. nothing. upgrade to win 10. Same thing . error 12. Tried everingthing i could find. nothing helped. i can see large memory field in Device mng, but still get error12. It seems that DSDT overide is working, but.... I think of setup 1.30 is it going to fix my problem win Win8.1 or Win10 error12? I still dont understand why it is working good with win8 without any DSDT but win8 1 & win10.....
