Thanks for the response. I will try downgrading the bios, maybe that will make a difference. The thing is the notebook had a bad screen and I was using the integrated cpu gfx. I took it apart in order to replace the whole top screen assembly that I got from eBay for $80. And after that it started to randomly shut off. The pre-bios alienware diagnostics show everything is fine though. I'm very good with PC repair (10+ years of experience) but can't quite figure this problem out.

I took apart my m14x r2 to clean it out and re-apply thermal paste, cause my dedicate gpu stopped being detected in BIOS. After reassembly everything seemed fine, but after ~10 hours it just shut off with no restart. It would power back up and after 1-2 seconds turn off. After disconnecting the charger and letting it sit for a day it turns on but then it repeats the whole process again. I'm on regular bios A14. Any ideas what might be wrong?
