1 - Switch to IGFX

2 - Flash from Windows with Dell A11 Bios

3 - Flash from Windows with Dell A10 Bios

4 - Flash with A10 Unlocked.

Is this bios UEFI compatible? Currently i am in Stock 80.04.AF.00.03

Hey folks, I have a GTX 980M in my 18x and I wanted to do my upgrade for windows 10. The upgrade utility told me that my GPU is incompatible with the upgrade. I have a custom unlocked bios from PREMA as well. What needs to be done in order for me to secure my upgrade? Thank you in advance.

hi all, i recently flashed my both GTX 675M and i flashed the wrong version (from techpowerup) i was running the under-volt bios made by @svl7 and i had to go stock, after successful flash in dos and reboot, 8 beeps POST with black screen, even a bios reset didn't resolve the problem, i had to remove the cards and now i'm on integrated gfx. i googled for a solution.

it looks like i have to resold another vbios chip or reprogram mine. is there any other solution? or can someone give me where to find these chips ?

my setup

Alienware M18x R2, A10 unlocked bios, no warranty, 2x GTX 675M.

did you flashed both?

maybe you will need a working card in slot 1 and bad flashed in slot 2 for recovery.

I purchased duel 780's from someone on this forum a while back. I got them already flashed with VBIOS from slv07, there is a thread on these forums for the update if you have to do it yourself. Do some searching and you'll find it. If not let me know and I'll see if I can find the link again.

are you vga and hdmi port working?

I have a problem my hdmi and vga out doesnt work with dgpu but with integrated vga does the mini displayport working in dgpu and igpu too. maybe the bios is the problem? 2xDell GTX 780M in Alienware M18X R2 the vbios is 80.04.AF.00.03
