Hi, I have 2 partitions: on partition C and E. I have my windows 7 x64 on C and installed setup 1.3 on it... but my eGpu is not working (error 43 even with DSDT override). So I decided to install another fresh windows 7 x64 on E. I uninstalled setup 1.3 on C and installed it on E But when I chainload setup 1.3 (tried with all options possible: MBR, MBR2, bootmgr), I get an error if I boot the windows that is on E. I get "Windows failed to start.....a required device isn't connected or can't be access" any clue?

I actually have windows 7 64 bit with 8gb of ram and the GDC beast but it is not working at all.. Can you guys recommend a windows version that will most likely work with the GDC beast?

I followed the guide and everything looks good in device manager... pb is that when i connect the eGPU and boot, I get a BSOD... the screen goes out too quick, I can't note that error is displayed. Any idea??

Guys I have windows 7 64bit and when I "click" Chainloader (set to MBR, mbr2 does not work) --> "Test run" ... it does not boot to win7 direclty but I get the boot selection screen again showing me my windows 7 entry + my DIY eGPU entry... is this normal? When I watch this video : , I see that when he "clicks" on chainloader --> "Test run", it boots directly to windows 10

I managed to g et large memory to appear but when i boot with Exp Gdc beast connected..i get a bsod a few seconds after the windows logo appears. I am on win7 64bit...any idea? The bsod disappears too quick (restarts) I cant read what is on it

My HP dv4 has a mPCIE slot but I don't know if it is whitelisted or not.. asked in the main eGPU experience thread but no one replied, so I guess there's no method in finding out if your slot is whitelisted or not. So I am going to buy the GDC beast and try... but wanna know how hard is it to unlock it in case my slot is actually whitelisted?

Thx for your reply. How do I find out if my mPcie port is whilelisted? What is Nando setup? It costs only $25? Was thinking about buying the Gdc Beast which is a little more expensive at $35

I dunno .. electrical issues like fire, burning the GPU stuff like this or it is perfectly safe or at least as safe as the PE4 adapters?

I am reading on HP laptops, the slot is whitelisted? How can i remove it? I have the HP Pavilion dv4-3006tx

in it says WWAN mPCIe slots with only USB pins connected (pin 36+38) rather than PCIe pins (23, 25, 33, 35) cannot do a eGPU. how can i find out if my slot is compatible or not?? find attached photos of my miniPCIe slot and wifi card:

did not find it; I opened the HDD back "enclosure"/"cover" .. maybe I need to remove the back of the laptop completely?

I have the pavillon dv4-3006TX but I can'y find the mPCI express slot ... opened 2 "lids" at the back .. but found only the rams and HDD Any idea where it can be found? wanna try an eGPU solution on it
