unfortunatly .. now any edit in CPU settings cause GTA V to crash .. now i am stock with throttle stop and everything is ok

any idea why gta v crash when i tune the cpu with XTU?

Your laptop has some throttling problems. What model is it? I am not sure why it throttles but you should try using ThrottleStop.

Check the Set Multiplier box and set that to the maximum value, disable BD PROCHOT and you can also use ThrottleStop to under volt your CPU and cache. After that click on the Turn On button and then run a stress test to see if anything has changed.

Try turning on the ThrottleStop - Log File option and then copy and paste your log file data to Pastebin.com - #1 paste tool since 2002! and post a link here.

This app is a legend. the power limit is 0 and i get 3.2 Ghz with 30W TDP .. i believe i can get more clock speed now?

I have a problem with my laptop with Core i7 4712hq

The TDP throttle down from 37 W to 20 W under 70 C Temperature causing Clocks to decrease from 3.1 Ghz to 2 Ghz and some time 0.8 Ghz

what should i do and what's the problem?

YES .... success ..... finally

was replacing the wrong file in mmtool

now managed to to get +400mhz on core and +199mhz on memory

scored plus 900 in firestrike benchmark and jumped in shadow of mordor from 18 fps to 28 fps on 1080 ultra

plus the temperature jumped from 62 to 64 ... not a big deal

Okay would you share the tutorial you've used please? and will it work with another laptop with same specs?
