I have the same problem too, the fan consistently work in the background, making noises. My bios of my machine is 1.03.03, and EC is 1.03.02. I download the BIOS and EC from clevo Mirrow [1]. [1] W35xST/W37xST Series

In China, it costs about $1800 to get a i7+980m clevo model. But 980m costs $1000 alone. I would rather sell my old laptops and get a new one. It doesn't cost that much.

Hi. I have a Clevo w350stq, with BIOS 1.03.03 and EC 1.03.02. I find the fan is consistently working in low speed even if the CPU utilize and temperature are both low. It annoys me all the time. I don't think you should ever use a W series notebook to overclock. W series is not for professional gaming, and fan doesn't work quite well. BTW, I bought the same one 1 year ago from Hasee. It works well except the fan randomness. I hope clevo could address this problem ASAP.
