  1. So do you know how to fix my problem with error code 43 and how it doesn't work even if device manager says it's working properly?
  2. I'm getting error 43, anyone know how to fix this? Sometimes I can get the card to say working properly in device manager but there is nothing going into my moniter. Everytime I disable my dgpu and restart, it enables itself and whenever I install a Nvidia driver, it enables the on board 770m.
  3. The graphics card is delivered, however I have to wait until 3 o'clock to test it, I'll post results then.
  4. Can I rest the card on the metal cover that came with the akitio thunder2?
  5. I have a question, what is safe to rest my graphics card on? And should I lay it down with the fan facing up or stand it up with the fan facing me?
  6. OK I ordered a replacement, should be here in 6 days, I'll keep you posted.
  7. I still have 1 day until amazon receives my returned 980, then I have to buy another one and wait for it. TOO MUCH WAITING I CANT TAKE IT!
  8. The asus vg248qe has a 144hz capability do I want to use that to its full potential . It doesn't support g-sync though, g-sync moniters are expensive so I'm not planning on getting one.
  9. OK 2 votes for the gtx 980,im not planning on upgrading my moniter unless that resolution supports 144hz. I would have got the gtx 970 automatically if I was gaming on 60hz,but I need 144hz,so now I'm stuck between the 2 cards. However as of now I'm thinking about re-buying the 980.
  10. OK so I have one vote for the GTX 980, im not using opimus sooo. Theres not much of a difference between mini display port and thunder bolt that you can see with your eye. Here's my two cables.
  11. Oh, your right it is a mini display port cable. I have a question, should i get a gtx 980 or a 970? The 970 is much cheaper but the 980 is more future proof. I'm stuck deciding which to get, Once i hear your responses, I will buy that graphics card and keep you posted when i get the card.
  12. Unfortunately I already returned the graphics card when I figured out how to get the blue light to turn on, and yes the mini black and yellow cable is connected. I am going to buy a evga 970 when I get the refund for the 980 however. There is a problem with the akitio box though, I can only get the blue light to turn on when I connect 2 Thunderbolt cables to it, one to my pc and one to my moniter, any reason for that? *Edit I have found out that the blue led did not light up because it needs to be connected via the Thunderbolt cable they included, I was using my own. Just wanted to let you guys know so you don't have the same problem that I did.
  13. I tried that, still doesn't turn on. Should I return the 980 and but a 970?
