  1. @bn880: without my modded backplate but with a notebookcooler, i have reached a max 89°C with the ov1.000v playing crysis 2 during hours, without FN +1, and without throttling of the card.

    with modded backplate 82°C.

    @supermi: 1100core /2500 memory is a very extreme OC ... i am pretty lucky with my 1006/2400 OC at 1.0v.

    Yeah you are lucky. For me my 680m 4gb only got stable at 993/2500 using 1.05v. I can go up to 1006/2500 but only stable for 3dmark11 and about 1 hour of crysis 2 after that it crash. Maybe because im running in SLI or i got unlucky card.. but anyway big thanks to svl even at 993/2500 i very satisfied with it performance. My temp at full load max at 77c (when temp reach 74c gpu fan kick at 100% and thats good for me and thanks to alienware) running in m18x with ic diamond 7.

  2. I didn't make the vbios compatible with uefi, the latest Clevo vbios simply has the uefi drivers included, whereas the Dell vbios hasn't. All I did is modifying the legacy vbios, which shouldn't get loaded with uefi boot / secure boot. You can easily check this... what's the maximum overclock you can set per software?
    core up to 1050/mem 2450 half stable but just for 3dmark11 and some games. but superb stable for all games core 941/mem 2450 (tested with 4 hours+ crysis2, hitman, and bla bla bla).. Thanks again for your hard works!..
  3. That's impossible. Secure boot can't work, unless your bios allows secure boot with legacy stuff enabled, which makes absolutely no sense. For true secure boot you'd need an uefi compatible vbios, the Clevo vbios contains such an image, but it's not modified. So unless the legacy stuff gets loaded, you won't notice anything of the mod.

    its works!.. (older clevo vbios cant. its say mxm not bla bla bla) but this new clevo vbios works. that's because of your great work for making the vbios compatible with uefi. im using m18x r2 with a08 bios (this bios support uefi, secure boot and windows 8 fast boot, and Im using windows 8 pro. first I disable secure boot, setup the uefi boot then theres only show alienware text when boot after it boot, I restart and enable secure boot then everything work fine. but actually I don't know what is the secure boot for.. hahaha but I just make it enable. from total shutdown to windows login screen just about 5 - 7 seconds (ssd). sorry for my bad English.

  4. Hi RPXZ,

    It seems that Afterburned Doesn't support variety of mobile keplers at the moment. Try to edit MSIAfterburner.cfg file inside MSIAfterburner installation folder and add following lines under [NVAPIHAL] section:

    UnofficialOverclockingEULA = 1

    UnofficialOverclockingMode = 1

    UnlockVoltageControl=1

    UnlockVoltageMonitoring=1

    From my point of view, try using EVGA precision X. for me its better then MSIAfterburner.

  5. New Clevo version added, 915MHz default clock, clocks adjustable, slightly undervolted. Let me know how it performs.

    Seems to work pretty well on my system, but haven't tested it for a long time. Grab it in the second post.

    i just flash it and this is my experience with.

    my configuration is m18x r2 with 4gb clevo cards.

    flash and run good and no throttling but i think (just think because im not expert) this vbios voltage needs to be higher if not it wont be stable.

    i can run heaven benchmark with no prob as many time as i like also 3dmark2011 with no prob but some game like crysis 2 it crash after couple hour.

    very easy for me to know if the vbios/overclock is stable or not i just try run medusa demo (yes medusa is old demo from nvidia) but from my experience, if i can pass the medusa then

    all other game like crysis 2 will be stable for hours and no prob at all. for example before this i use the clevo oc vbios (thanks to svl7) set at 890core/2400mem it is super stable.. not a single crash.

    maybe svl7 can adjust this new vbios mods to be more stable. like i said, this is what i think because im not the expert.

    thanks and keep up the good work.

  6. What do you mean (because i try the msi ov yes its work but msi vbios does not support sli) ?

    Do you got SLi or not? Sli gpus will only support 1.012v vbios and down.

    But if you only got singel 680m you can ov up to 1.1 v.

    yes i got sli system m18x r2 but with 4gb clevo card. i try clevo oc vbios everything works fine. i try the msi vbios and sli option in nvidia setting gone.

    thanks for the information about sli system only support up to 1.012v. but where can i find clevo vbios with that voltage mod?

    thanks
