  1. Solarwinds makes a few free tools that are fairly easy to use. Download Free Network Management & Free Network Monitoring Software from SolarWinds

We use these tools at work (Network Engineer) and they are pretty good. This will show you the amount of data usage and bandwidth and they are free!!! I bet because this is post 2 I am not able to post the link, so if not. google solarwinds and then select free tools and free trials. Look for the free tools and you can register and download. Hope this helps in the troubleshooting and performance testing of the cards.

    Nice tip. Thanks!

  2. Hey guys, I've just discovered this forum. I was reading the Lenovo IdeaPad Y580 Hackintosh thread, and the unlocked Y580 BIOS was mentioned, which brought me here. I love the laptop discussions, the Y580 ones in particular. My real name is Jan, I currently live in NYC and I'm nearly 26 years old. The first computer I've even taken apart was a G3 450 Mhz iMac, when I was like 14.

I do have one question, how come I can't download files? I've read somewhere you need 5 posts, and I've got more. Also, how many do I need before the moderator stops doing the approval?

    Welcome to ti buddy.

You're over 5 posts and the system will automatically promote you to full permissions within an hour (if it hadn't already), once it's done you will not need moderators to approve your posts and will be able to download anything you want.

    Cheers.

  3. Hi all, I'm from Brazil and I'm currently studying Mechanical Engineering. I always loved technology, so of course I love notebooks and desktops.

I sold my desktop because I will go study in Germany, so I bought a G46VW and changed some parts. I put a 3920xm trying to have as close as possible to a portable desktop ;)

Well, this forum seens to be great. I personaly came here for the ASUS Gaming Notebook section.

Seja bem vindo meu amigo! :-)

You'll be happy to know that one of the founders of TI is also Brazilian, well kind of :-)
