Thanks for a quick reply Nando4 What is the x27 TDP Throttling? Also is applying my i7 2670 a plug and play for hp 2570p or do i have to modify the bios or something? I am more into 2570p as i need the native support for usb 3.0 and also i can save the express slot for wither the egpu or for more usb 3.0 ports. Also i have an intel 6250 that wifi and wimax card. Is that a whitelist card or not? Thanks for ur help once again

Hello all I came across this thread I am interested in buying the HP 2560p or 2570p. I have a question that i have a core i7 2670qm idle lying around. Can i install that processor in HP 2570p? I am asking this because hp 2570p runs third gen processor and mine is a 2nd gen. Have anyone tried it? I am more interested in the 2570p as it has usb 3.0 and sata 6gbps tau they are a plus over hp 2560p Hope to hear from you all soon. Thanks
