    M390X is actually a refresh of the M295X also M290X is not a rebrand its a refresh its quite difference it supports HEVC hardware level whereas 8970M does not so if you want to work with HEVC or watch it, then M290X it is. Although not seen any info about a M390X MXM card, I wonder if anyone has, I was looking for one but all I could find was soldered on board chip for iMac and Alienware laptops.
