Thank you for the guide. I followed these exact steps and right now my yosemite booted in an extremely high resolution (with sluggish controls) mode with no egpu enabled. Has anyone else run into this issue? NOTE: Nevermind, got it working. Had to try it a couple of times.

I know this question may be a bit early. I have a nice eGPU setup running on Mavericks. However, when I initially tested it out with the beta version of Yosemite, it didn't work very well. I was wondering if that is still the case. Searching the forums or google didn't result in much success. Appreciate any guidance. Thanks.
