This is what I am getting with the new NVflash .

Do I have different board or something ? 

The bat file include this command " nvflash -i 0 -6 " should I try this too ?

@J95 I tried your commands but still its closes because of ID board Mismatch ? when should I press Y ? is there something I am missing ?

@J95 hey man sorry to bother you but I tried to flash v2 Vbios but I think its says wrong (something something ) and the window close .

Can I reboot now to try in safe mode ? or should I try again ? Do I have to flash STOCK first then flash v2 ? I have v1 at the moment

Wow do we really need to flash the new vBIOS for the newer Geforce driver ? I am scared of flashing i bought the card already flashed

Guys could tell me what to do with the touchpad driver everytime I try to install it it wont and Windows driver get installed I tried using .inf file and it will work but F11 ( T-pad disable botton ) doesnt work ?

I have Windows 10 64 bit any ideas ?

Mr.Fox and other fellow members on NBR say that the main problem seems to be Precision X which I never used and that seem its okay to update the GPU driver on Windows anyone now on Windows 10 with updated Driver ?

I am on Windows 10 but scared to update the driver beyond 353.50 ! any advise ? ( I want to keep win 10)

Now I now all about display dying out but can anybody tell me , I am running now Win 10 AW17 with 353.50 and its been running fine for more then 2 months ? can I update to a newer one ?

BTW I am using Windows 10 on my PC with 970M installed on Forceware 353.50 and I ahvent had any problem cant I update to later version ?

Sidenote : anybody on optimus noticeing that the laptop is consuming more power on battery like the Nvidia Card not shutting down I used to get 3-4 hours before I upgraded to 970M now I only get 2 hours

i haven't had issues with 355.82 for a few weeks now and it feels like it's been a good 2-3 weeks.

Hi Everybody, first of all sorry for my english

i bought a gtx980m from eurocom website to replace gtx880 in the alienwarem17x r5. first of all i don't know why but this card is not recognized by any kind of official driver and i need always to replace the .inf file.

anyway i noticed that whit stock driver and bios was throttling realy often and i decided to flush few vbios just to try. i tried prema, msi , clevo bios but after few minutes without throttling i have tdp error and everything crush. this is happening whit win 10 and 8.1 and whit different kind of driver... temperatures don't exeed 74 C

the strange thing is that with all custom bios even if i don't touch frequency after few minutes in game the screen froze and came out blu screen with tdp error (nvlddmkm.sys)the gpu looks working fine without throttling att all. i tried to increase voltage or power limit value but no improvement. maybe somthing wrong with .inf file or driver.

one more thing is that after pc restart automatically on desktop came out kernel video stop work and freeze again one more time...

anybody can help me? i mixed a lot of different driver and file inf with no result and i'm getting crazy

what Power brick you are using ?

Is there anyone having trouble in 353.62 Driver in optimus mode ? seems that the driver is waking up the GPU and instead using the iGPU ?

Any ideas ?

I just Upgraded my AW 17 R5 from Geforce 765M to 970M , and withouy Mr. J95 and the Legend Mr FOX , I wont be able to do that ......

Side note : I just noticed that I don't have Super dynamic resolution (DSR) in nvidia Control panel ? is it deactivated in laptops? or just because of our Modded Driver ?

Mine goes above that... Can you not get a 240W PSU easily where you are? Amazon UK has quite a few and I think even Amazon US does.. where are you located BTW? I really think your getting power limited... Have you flashed Svl7's vBIOS properly too? That's literally the 1st thing I did when I got my 970M..

Also @J95, I've tried both the nvdispi and the nvcvi... The nvdispi works best for me.. The 2 nvcvi only show the graphics driver, PhysX and GeForce experience under the stuff to be installed... The nvdispi shows theese 3 + the 3D Vision stuff + Mircast... I installed NVIDIA HD Audio through Device Manager so should be fine..

I just discovered that my card always on P1 does not go to P0 memory always on 1550Mhz so yes properly thats the problem ....I do have the vBIOS flashed . Thats why i aksed many times all of the members told me that 180w should be fine but seems that its not ....Buying one right now from Ebay

PS : there like 3 versions of the 240W Dell , Delta and flextronics ? which one is the best ?

J95, I guess the nvdispi_inf is the same as the previous one? Previous one installed fine for me.. No throttling etc in Optimus mode...

Halo, I think the problem might be that you've got a 180W PSU... Even with 970M, your probably using a bit too much power from it causing throttling..

Driver wise, you need to install nvcvi.inf which J95 linked in his 1st post which is specifically for 970M/980M in AW 17 R1 in Optimus mode...

You think so ? I see in nvidia inspector that "power " doesnt go above 35% TDP do you think thats is the problem ?

Since AW P1 switching was slightly reduced HF v350.05 & v350.12 compared to v347.88, clearly intentional, implementing 'AW/900M throttling' without messing w/ everyone else or even other cards, dirty little task. Ask Clevo/780M users to test v350.12.

I am cnofused should overwrite both "nv_dispi.inf" and "nvcvi.inf" or just "nvcvi.inf" ?

I am still getting low score either way ? Am i mssing something ? I have Modded BIOS and Driver install fine but I tried everyone
