  1. That just worked for me completely, I had the same problem with my top screen being slightly cut off with a glitch or something when I first got the laptop even making my programs look kinda cut off when their maximaze. Got used to it until now. Thanks!
  2. Alright I'll Keep An Eye On It. Thanks Again.
  3. Yea It Is. Thanks A Lot! Btw One More Thing So When Nvidia Comes Out With A New Updated Driver On There Official Site, Will I Be Able To Update It On There Site Without Any Problems Or Do I Gotta Do Same Thing Again? lol.
  4. Ok I Done Everything But Now Im Stuck On Where Is The Original Inf & The Modded, I Have Both Folders Opened...What They Suppose To Say? *Nevermind I Think I Got It, The Modded Inf Was The {Nvwi}* So I Looked For The Same File Wit Those Same Letters, Took Out The Original & Put The Modded One, Did The Custom Setup With Clean Install...Looks Like Everything Went Perfect. Now Just Gotta Rerun The Games To See If They Still Work. So I Should Be Ok Right?
  5. Can You Give Me The Links To Download The Driver Sweeper And The Nvidia Driver? Plus I Dont Get The Six Step, You Mean Like Take Out The Original Inf Out The Folder And Replace It With The Modded One? Sorry It Got A Little Confusing For Me At That Part.
  6. Well I Did What You Said But Under The Desktop Tab It Already Had A Check Next To It Sayin Its Already Enabled But At First I Went To Nvidia Control Panel And Went To Manage 3D Settings Then Global Settings, Seein That The Perferred Graphics Card Was On "Auto Select" So Instead I Changed It To High-Performance NVIDIA Processor, When I Did The Benchmark Again It Ran Completely Better How It Was Suppose Too So I Knew It Was Using The Nvidia Card Now But In The End It Still Said The Intel HD Graphics Card lol. You Were Right That It Was Labeling The Wrong One But It Was Running On The Right One This Time. I Think It Was The Program Itself Thats Doin The Mistake. I Got Another Question Tho And Just To Be Safe, Im Planning On Updating The Nvidia GT 555m Card {Currently On The 267.21 Driver} To The Latest One Which Is The 280 On The Nvidia Website Itself But I Need Some Help On How To Do It Right Because For Some People It Messed Up There Video Card Since They Didnt Do "A Clean Install". Any Advice?
  7. Okay Well I Know This May Sound Easy But Im Stuck On Why Doesnt My Nvidia Card Run When I Do A Benchmark On Final Fantasy XIV, At The End Of It It Told Me It Ran On The Intel HD One So Im Wondering How Do I Switch To The Nvidia GT.
  8. True But Ima Still Let Them Do It Either Way. Once I Find Out The Whole Cost. Can't Afford The Wait To Return It And Still Wait To Get A Whole New One For Now. Just For Other Reasons But Idk Yet, Even Tho I Got A Desktop PC To Back Me Up. Thats Pretty Much It. But Thanks Though.
  9. Thanks Alot For The Help Guys! I Appreciated It. But Doing it Myself Tho I Dont Think I Will Do That While On Warranty. So Ima Just Let Dell Do It, I Know Some Of It Is Simple From What I Seen And About Returning It, Well It Took Me A Month To Get It So Waiting For A Another One Will Kill Me lol I Mean I Can Wait But I Need A Laptop To Get Around. Thanks Again! I'll Keep All This Info In Mind.
  10. Hi, Im New To The Forum And To Start Off My Question Is What Parts Are Upgradable Through Alienware? Im Curious To Know Because I Had The Laptop About A Week And I Think I Should've Gone Higher With The Specs. Here They Are. My Specs: *i5 Intel Core Processor 2410m 2.3ghz {2.9ghz} *4GB Of DDR3 *1.5GB Nvidia GT 555m *500GB 7200 RPM HDD *Screen Resolution: 1366X768 What I Really Want To Upgrade Is The Intel Core From A i5 To An i7 Of 2.0ghz, The RAM To 4GB To 8GB, The Nvidia Video Card To A 3.0GB Instead Of 1.5 And The Screen To A 1600X900. So Im Just Asking Anybody Here First Before Calling Dell To See If It's Possible To Upgrade To These Specs? That Way I Dont Have To Buy A Whole New Laptop From Them, If So What Would The Price Range Be? Also This Is My First Time Upgrading A PC So Yea. Thanks!
