Hi fellow readers of the mighty techinferno forums x) I'm trying to recover a 7970 from a bad winflash, card is detected as slave in my m18x BIOS and windows(I was even able to install drivers for it) but isn't listed with atiflash -i "whatever" (tryed blank, 1, 2) I can only see main main GPU under 0 putting it in the master slot only goes black screen.... any ideas ?

ok I think I tryed every obvious possibilities I can't get more than led and fans...without any CG it should boot on hd3000 right ?

Hi Khenglish thanks for your answer, I received my fan for the master slot so I can now check both. I am actually trying to plug/unplug everything between reboots to see if I can understand where it comes from, pictures for the probe will be greatly apreciated Only thing i have so far is fan turning for some seconds and backlighting, still have no beeps, nor pre-post flashing LEDs (caps/scroll/num)

Hummm Got a fan, replugged everything with care ( as always ), no more lights, no more fans turning, no sign of power... :/ is there a way to check if the MOBO burnt (even if I don't how it could) ?

Hi everyone I spent the last 6 month building a r2 (almost) from scratch. I finally have enough parts to try to boot it, actually fans starts, LEDs fires up, but then then fans stops... no beeps, no post... Do anyone have an idea on what I could do? I tried to boot without RAM or CG to force some beeps but it doesn't change anything. I'm actually missing the "left" (master ?) cg fan so I could only try on the slave slot, does it makes a difference ?

Just discovered I have a 1600mhz setting for RAM when I unlinked the clock mode in advanced BIOS tab, wasn't it supposed to be 1333 max ?

spent an hour with dell (FR) technician they don't know about x10 version, didn't find a way to backup it but I'll keep trying for the LAN adapter they found me a link with tools and procedure for flashing eeprom ( PXE-E05 boot error ) that I followed, it went "ok bro np it's fixed" but in the end I still have my bug
