  1. Yes, They have sent a technician to my home.
  2. This was the solution I was trying to avoid.... But I guess there is no other way, so I talked with dell and they will replace it for free. Thank you for your help.
  3. I have the M14x R1 alienware for almost a year, and recently I started to have some serious overheating problems. When I use the computer for work - office, firefox, pdf... my cpu heats up for about 80 degrees. But when I play games my CPU can get above 100 degrees, and I have to stop and let the computer to cool off before it get damaged. (it doesn't auto shutdown) I have noticed that the problem is mainly because my fan won't work as it used to, it rotates at a much slower rate and when the CPU heating above 85 degrees instead of going faster the fan slows down. When I boot checked the fan it said max - 5300[RPM], yet I know it can run up to 7000[RPM]. I cleaned the fan, and always make sure it has enough air flow from the bottom. I tried to reinstall the chipset driver - didn't help. Any ideas for can I do to fix this? P.S programs such as HWinfo and speedfan didn't help...
