Thank you for taking the time to do a mega link that's is super cool of you. I have one question, you have 3 ISOs and one mds causing some confusion on my end. I want to create a bootable USB but I don't know which image to use. You have any suggestions?

    Thanks

Here's a new MEGA link since I had to recover my MEGA account. It should have 4 ISOs that need to be burned onto a dual layer DVD as far as I understand.

  2. In a previous post, I posted that ebay has something for the y400, and i believe the ultrabay for the y400 and y410p are going to be the same.

---------> Here <---------- Sadly they dont have it for the y500/y510p

If the caddy is the same size for the y510p, wouldn't it fit?

  3. Maybe try to clen your fans from dust by using compressed airs and vacum. You can try repasting cpu and gpu. And finnaly cooling pad. Dont buy cheap colling pad cause they are not working. Friend of mine is using zelman nc1300 and achive 4 to 7 celcius degrees less on his cpu and gpu.

I wouldn't recommend vacuuming since that could create static and fry you laptop.

  4. I found this: Lenovo IdeaPad Y510p HDD Caddy

But as you can see you need the cover of the dvd drive, which I do not have as I bought the SLI y510p.

This seems to be the only good HDD caddy. I ordered a random one off Ebay, however it has a millimeter gap which can cause it to detach from the HDD caddy. This is probably only for me since my friend installed the one in the link and it's so far so good.
