Hi , My post is related to http://forum.techinferno.com/alienware-m17x-aw-17/5434-%5Bm17x-r3%5D-sata-3-bios-update-without-battery.html I have kind of the same pb, after i flashed to A12 from Dell , now i get AC power adapter not recognized in Windows 7 and my battery isn't charging anymore. So i wanted to reflash bios with the Unlocked version but as my battery isn't recognized and it has less than 10% i can't flash from Windows anymore. Does reflashing with A12 unlocked can get me out of the AC adapter situation or is a known issue? (i tried wiping the battery , i tried removing CMOS battery, i tried all the methods that i found on inthernet) I wish my BIOS is not well flashed and after reflashing everything will be ok. So regarding this method : i have 2 video cards Intel and AMD ATI 6970m is it ok to remove the AMD before flashing or is not necessary , also the USB will work in eSATA port? shouldnt be normal USB port?. Thank you
