  1. Hi, I tried to solder the original plug-in jack of my 180w PSU to a DELL (  Flextronics) 240w PSU. I connected the ID wire to the ground and white to white as you instructred, but the Adapter shuts down 1-2 min after GPU is under full load. I have a Clevo P157SM and upgraded 2 summers ago to a GTX 980M which needed more power. It is only doing this while using prema's vbios. I didn't change any settings. My laptop was working well with the 180w as well, but many users reported that it needs more power. Need a bit of help. Thanks!

  2. I have a problem with the vbios.. If I stress the gpu it will shut down the laptop and also the PSU. I modded a 240w PSU in order to work for my Clevo P157sm which originally came with a 180w PSU. I had this problem with my original PSU as well...I thought it would be a power issue but I guess I am wrong. Any ideas what could it be? Thank you!

    PEG MOD

    Hello,

I have a Clevo laptop with win 10 64-bit and a gtx 980M. My laptop has optimus, I had a driver 373.xx something that worked flawless, but now I had to reinstall the driver because optimus wouldn't work anymore. I forgot which inf files to change, nvcvi and there was another one, but I can't find which one, could you please tell me? Thank you!

  4. How to enable optimus on a clevo p157sm? The LED for it is always on and it's draining my battery quite fast. I have a 373.06 driver installed and latest Intel HD graphics. Should I do something in BIOS? Are the modded drivers faulty? I have a replaced GTX 980M on it. The laptop came originally wih a GTX 780M. Thank you!

  5. Hello,

I recently tried to overwrite my stock BIOS with the V2 PremaMod BIOS for my Clevo GTX 980M and the latest NVIDIA drivers( 373.06). Everything worked great until I enter a game, after about 1-2 minutes the laptop shuts down and the LED located on the power supply also turns off. My laptop is a Eurocom X3 ( P157SM) which originally came with a GTX 780M and I still use the 180W Power Supply from them, could this be the problem?

I didn't try to overclock anything because I know 180w is simply not enough. If I use the stock BIOS again, everything works back again.
