  1. I'm currently using the dell version (2GB), still not working >.<
  2. Currently trying to get the Displayport working with the 680m. I have the 332.21 drivers from NVIDIA and I'm using VBIOS 80.04.5B.00.02 Modified from svl7. I'm just wondering where to start, do I have to edit or change the inf file on the drivers or is it a VBIOS problem? Any help will be appreciated, I know I've asked quite a few questions lately
  3. Hiya all, Ok so I've got the card (680m) back working thank god and I'm collecting the new PSU later, it's the 240W one. Do I have to do any mods to it, I heard something about pulling the middle pin out, or not? Once I've got this sorted I'll also retry the modified VBIOS and hopefully not have any problems Cheers for your help so far guys.
  4. 680m Only bought it last week, so I was going crazy last night lol
  5. Ok I managed to get it working again. I removed the gpu and checked everything, cleaned the gpu port and gpu. I also re flashed the original vbios and took off the motherboard battery. After putting it all back together and starting it up I've had no problems yet.
  6. Hi all, during playing a game on the laptop the screen suddenly turned off (everything else still on). I turned the laptop off and on to see if it sort it however the screen remained off and the num/scroll lock LEDs started flashing. I then did the power drain and tried again, this time making it to the desktop for all of about 2 min before the thing froze. Are there any ideas on what the problem is and how to sort it?
  7. Currently running on a i7 Q840 @ 1.87Ghz, I'll have a look at getting another PSU just incase I ever look at upgrading the CPU. Cheers for your help so far guys.
  8. Yep cheers managed to get it done also I'm currently getting throttling, which I expected, however will it still throttle after apply svl7 vbios if I keep the standard 150W PSU?
  9. Hiya guys, Just bought the GTX 680m for my laptop, however the nvidia installer isn't recognising the card. Is there anyway to get round this and install the drivers? Cheers for any help.
