At the ripe old age of 47, I might be able to lay claim to the title of Official Fossil of Tech|Inferno.

Most of you guys were barely out of diapers when I was busy peeking and poking random values into the memory of a Radio Shack TRS-80 to see if I could make it go KA-BOOM! Not much has changed since then.

Now I am too old to play any games that move faster than Pong. I am glad that I've been able to help some of you guys get some decent frame rates out of your laptops and set a few world records along the way.

I could not install 11.7 properly!......somehow it doesn't ask for a restart after installed? so i went back to 11.6 now.

hi guys i bought one of these off ebay not really reading description (IBM card) Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 wireless card A/B/G/N (eBay item 390307758326 end time 20-Jul-11 17:29:55 AEST) : Computers installed in my m17xr2 and getting CODE 10 (cannot start device) with latest intel drivers & IBM Drivers. any ideas

I repasted my Alienware just 1 month ago, I used IC Diamond on cpu and the temp is between 72-74 degree celsius during gaming ,Shin Etsu is used on gpus the temp is around 67-69 degree. Mind you it's winter here now.

I did try the brush on Zalman STG1.........it's no good for me somehow.

I will stick to Shin etsu and IC Diamond cos they gave me good low numbers.

I would also like some spare IC diamond but too lazy to work on my Alienware until summer!

I joined the gang and bought a Netgear wndr3700 yesterday.....took me half an hour to set up.

upgraded to the latest firmware,the speed is between 16-19 mb/s download, 0.49mb/s upload!

haven't played with openwrt yet.........cos i m a noob.LOL

What speed would i get if using openwrt?
