Hi mods feel free to move this if you have a preferable location,due to login box error im fighting every step just to post atm...

So after a truly abysmal buyer experience with Eurocom(ill never trust them again...)

I went in search of a local reseller that doesn't require you to have purchased a system from them

I found within the murky depths of ebay a member names CEG (clevo_extreme_gaming)

they sell gtx900s series cards and machines so after about 2 dozen emails to them I finally purchased the 2nd (slave) GPU cooler with fan with sli bridge

330w psu and psu converter(link box)

all in all with postage from Europe to my doorstep took 3 days from placing order and e265 euro's

All for my p570wm

All parts were shipped express dpd with tracking well packaged and arrived in a very short time frame

The guys don't seem to sleep as no matter when I emailed day or night I had a prompt response

I think professionals who look after us deserve a mention and hopefully it helps people keep their clevos current and fully functional.

I have a P170EM with a 680M and would like to upgrade my heatshink to the SM version as I have read it has better colling.

I have already contacted a Portuguese store (clevocenter) but they told me that they didn't sell them. Do you guys know of a good european seller that sells them ?

Also, is the CPU heatsink also better ?

I highly recommend clevo extreme gaming don't be put off by their website underconstruction I just blew 265euros there free fast dpd tracking decent price and no messing just email them they paypal invoice you!

thank god, paid £200.00 for a dell 880m guy blew his mainboard and is broke showed it working in another identical machine so cheap vid card .

If i put an optimus alienware 880m into the p570wm will it post so i can flash the correct vbios? been offered one at a rediculously cheap price,would rather be able to use it than just sell it on...

Whats intailed... also can i flash clevo vbios onto it or much it be alienware m18 vbios?

god how i wish the p370em could use my gtx780's always loved the machine its custom sprayed but alas ill be selling it as i cant see it bein able to pass gtx680 any time in the near future.

2 questions really ...

Background my p570wm was barebone supplied with a 7970m to keep customs duty down i have a p370em sat here twiddling its thumbs......

1.can i remove my 7970m (p570wm card) and put it into the p370em without vbios flashing? Both machines are non enduro/optimus boot from primary mxm card.

2. can i put 2x clevo 680m cards from p370em into my p570wm without vbios flashing (plug n play???)

i decided to put my 780m back into the p370sm and leave it sli and settle for a pair of genuine warranttied 680m's in sli if its not too much messing about as i have a pair available to me at 200 a card brand spanking new sealed from clevo.

Will go maxwell in 2015.

Did you manage to fix the machine?

Have you tried reflashing a stock vbios to it again just incase the vbios became corrupted...it happens...

try again dscsonnect ac adapter disconnect laptop battery remove cmos battery go make a cup of tea or coffee leave it 10 mins to fully discharge,then whilst your waiting reseat your video card,just incase.

reinsert cmos battery ac power cord attempt to reboot,be patient it might take longer to reach bios or post screen.

What exactly did you do before the issues began?

flash video card bios

flash system bios

change bios settings?

the more info you provide the more likely someone might be able to find a fix...

also go to premamod.com look into how to make an emergency bios recovery pen drive

with stock bios or prema mod bios for your specific system.

SVL7 any chance of a high max volt vbios for the 780m your current 780m caps at 100mv 150mv slider would be appreciated for some benchmark suicide runs also 160% power aka same as the 880m has in nv inspector not sure if possible to tweak ram my card has samsung chips and maxxes out at 3040mhz

Can someone please help me locate a modded vbios for the 780m,im currently using the svl7's vbios but i would like higher voltage option in nvidiainspector mine has a 100mv limit i would like 150+ limit for suicide runs please.

Ive looked about but al i can see is the 100mv increase listed i noice the 880m's have 150mv slider available.

Thats what it boils down too heat its why i chose the p570wm gooc gpu capacity 6 core 12 threads is overkill to me but i love my ugly betty aka huge case.

Multiple runs increased cpu clock to 6x4600 mhz still only maxes cores 4300 for benchmark and score varies by only 30 points... wonder which xtu setting i need to tweak to hold higher turbo on all cores?

nah tbh i think the desktop cpus probably helping it stretch its legs a little more and the quad channel ram at 2133.

Is there a way to increase the sliders-value ranges on nv inspector i see the 880m has a power slider to 160% but the part im interested in is the voltage of 150 mines capped at 100mv id really like a bit more voltage available for some benchmark runs.im definately being held back on the gpu core by voltage not temps as i never break 72 degrees in the 570wm

any help or vbios reflash would be appreciated currently im using slv7 780m oc vbios.

ah there is whats holding me back my slider maxes at 100mv yours goes to 150mv...

i wonder if there is a way to increase it? we are using same instector version same supplier,xmg...

thankyou.im a bit unhappy with the card sample i need more voltage to push further but nv instector maxed out 1.1v i think i would prefer 1.250 max as coolings definately not a concern

What may i ask were your nvinspector settings voltage power temp on the sliders also te p states?

i havent forced any P states or anything just moved the clocks added a bit of poowah! and created a shortcut.

GO TO PREMAMOD.COM click the np9570 from the drop down then choose v4 for normal or v3 for a 3d model password to unzip is premamod

bootable usb drive extract the files to the pen drive root reboot spam f7 choose ur usb in the dos environment type update..

follow/accept on screen messages when machine shuts down pull power cord and leave machine off.... make a cup of tea plug machine in and reboot machine,enter bios F2 when it allows then load setup defaults and reboot

reenter bios and set up ur personailsed settings overclock ram raid-ahci etc and above all buy prema a beer

if it helps this rams rated upto 2400mhz when i plugged it in it defaulted at 1866 set to auto in system bios,i manually tweaked the settings you see in xtu,all ram and cpu settings are done via premamod bios.
