I did have that but it stopped happening, not sure if it was because I was able to download the update/modded .inf properly but yeah, mines working fine now

Sorry for the delayed response haha, got everything I wanted. the screen, gtx 460m, i7 2630 i think, thought I had posted the specs but must have forgotten. Have had 0 problems up until battlefield 3 with the new 285.62 drivers. Still can't get those to install >< love this laptop to death though so happy with it! Also glad you guys convinced me to get the upgraded screen, it is SO beautiful.

Any luck with this? I just reformatted hoping it would fix it, not sure if I should try to install the drivers from nvidias website or not..

Yeah same, trying to DL some previous drivers now.. Yeah, this thing is awesome and for its size it really isn't that heavy, its a beast.

Ever get it working? I've been trying for a couple days now and have come to no avail.. keep getting the same messages, failed to find compatible graphics card or something, than using with what was posted above I got as far as a quarter way through the DL of the 285.62 drivers before it failed >< Now I'm just as lost as before, if anyone gets this working properly please share how

Working fantastic besides the fact that I can't update my 460 to the latest drivers for BF3 and whatnot haha. Been trying to get those damn 285.62 drivers installed for 2 days now.. Love this laptop to death, gets a lot of looks too!

I absolutely love this laptop, have had 0 problems with it. It runs FANTASTIC, a lot better than I had expected. So glad I went with the 1080p and upgraded video card I've been meaning to post back here for quite some time now, but just never got a chance. I would like to thank those who helped me decide what to upgrade etc etc, wouldn't have had such a killer machine without you guys. *edit* found answer to the question

Scheduled delivery date changed from 7/19 to 7/15! Bad news is, the shipping address changed to my grandparents house (where I am now) and I leave on the 13th now I have to wait till the rest of my family gets back on the 3rd of August

Was just thinking about re-painting mine when I get it, ha. Looking forward to seeing the new paint job too!

Due to some confusion with the credit card company/dell I now need to re-order my m17x. I do have a quick question for you guys though, is it worth getting the 1.5GB GDDR5 Nvidia GeForce GTX 460M over the 17.3-inch WideFHD 1920 x 1080 60Hz WLE? Or vice versa? I can only chose 1 as I do have a limit on what I can spend. Thanks!

Would have loved to, but the $$$ was the issue. I might just run off my monitor, which is full 1080p. Thanks for the welcome!
