Do you have a modded BIOS for 2.02? I have the y510p with the nvidia GT755M

So far we haven't seen anything for 2.xx but i do not think any one else have the 2.02 bios, so you need to backup and upload that to svl7 as well.

I have Windows 8 licence (Y510p) and want to flash with unlocked BIOS. Will I lose licence if I flash with unlocked BIOS?

It is important to say that the key of Windows 8 is integrated into BIOS.

Well actually I do not know, because i have the 2.04 version which has not been cracked yet, I would say from the looks of it you should save your old key, but I do not know, if an unlocked version was avaliable I would love to try this for you, because I do not really care about the codes of home premium

I download this tool (Fptw64_8_series) and extract zipped files.

When I run fptw64 showed me a message "the program can`t start because Pmxdll32e.dll is missing from your computer" (but Pmxdll32e.dll is in the file).

Where did I go wrong?

I just received my y410p today and AIDA64 confirms BIOS version is 2.07

I'm very interested in an unlocked BIOS for this version Any plans to do this svl7?

Are you sure it's 2.07 ? and not 2.04 because if i check my smi bios it's 2.07 and the bios is 2.04.

The RTM version of windows 8.1 its a final version, and Nvidia says its not a driver issue, its a vbios issue.......

But this is what i dont believe.

Well last night i installed windows 8 instead of windows 8.1, install med nvidia beta drivers along with the lenovo drivers, on time the computer crashed during restart but it didn't loose the sli settings. So i think we need to wait for the full version of 8.1 and not the rtm, then driver issues should have resolved themself by that time.

I need a copy of that bios, else I can't do anything.

I've had the same problem i am currently burning a windows 7 and 8 disk so i am going to try through the night to see if the drivers fucks up as well.

So far i have figured out the 314 driver from lenovo works under 8.1 and the new beta as long as you don't restart the computer afterwards.

This seems to be a general issue, with the 2230 centrino card, especially after i read this post on the lenovo forum New y510p with a wifi problem - Lenovo Community

I do have 510p with 755 sli configuration ajd 2.04 bios as well, unfortunately i cannot download the backup tool because of lack of post in the forum could you please give a direct link ? then i would be more than happy to get everything you need.
